A nice living space for all Lycans to converse and spend time within. On the far wall near the entrance to the kitchen, there is a small bar allowing for alcoholic beverages to be made.
Christian's muscularly-lean figure moved into the house with ease, having heard what the new she-Lycan had said about her following him. "Oh, I wouldn't let someone as beautiful as you venture off on your own, this house can be very scary after all," He said, looking to her as he glided his hand through his hair once more, a confident smile upon his lips. He noticed that all the others had followed him in as well, including the male that had been within the front. He hoped that Acacia would bring herself into the lounge too, since it would only be a custom for him to ask her first what she would like for dinner. He'd get to know all the other wolves there too, but she was the Alpha, and he wished to cater to her, as it had been a plan for her and him to have been alone tonight. Walking over towards the small bar that he had built himself, he pulled out a small glass, starting to mix alcohols together. He was aiming for something a little tangy this time, bringing forth the needed liquids and materials to make himself a small Clementine Margarita, something he'd enjoy. He could drink straight liquor, but he chose to have something a little more on the fruity side today. After all, getting drunk was for later, after dinner and such was done.
"Do any of you drink?" He asked, looking around the room at the people that would have gathered by now, watching him create such a splendid little drink. He'd give it to someone else and make himself another if he had too, since he was a gentleman after all, and ladies that wanted their drinks, well he just couldn't deny them from it. He hoped that one of them within the small crowd would be a drinker, and would possibly play at some drinking games with him later. "Also, I was getting ready to make Acacia and I dinner for this evening, are any of you partial to a specific diet?" He asked, looking around the room as he took a drink once more from the liquor within his hand, the tangy aftertaste of alcohol clinging to his taste buds as he awaited an answer from any one of them.
Rayne had followed Christian into the lounge with her usual grace, but not before giving him a playful eye roll and grin at his last comment. The lounge looked quite cozy, amid a rustic and modern merging into one room that left Rayne's eyes sparkling with excitement. At least Council sent you to a nice place… She thought as she ran a small hand over the back of one of the single seat couches. She spun herself around and gently leaned against the soft surface, her backpack now on the floor by her feet. Her ocean grey eyes tralied up from her feet to find Christian standing at a beautifully made bar."Do any of you drink?" The Beta asked as Rayne watched him making a drink. "What's 300 years of living without a bit of alcohol?" She joked, a soft chuckle laced through her words. "But I'll wait until after dinner before I do any drinking." She answered in a softer tone, then turning her head to see who had made their way into the lounge as well, giving a friendly smile to anyway who would look her way.
"Also, I was getting ready to make Acacia and I dinner for this evening, are any of you partial to a specific diet?" The Beta spoke again and her head turned back around to look at Christian. Rayne would wait for everyone else to respond before saying anything,"Nope, but I'll help with dinner if you need any help." She felt it was the polite thing to offer any help, after all, she was known for particularly good cooking skills. But she would any help if help was needed, it wasn't like Christian wasn't capable of anything.
Lyula
Throw me to the wolves and I will return, leading the pack.
"Do any of you drink?" This was Beta Christian speaking. "Also, I was getting ready to make Acacia and I dinner for this evening, are any of you partial to a specific diet?" Lyula considered her answer carefully before responding. "Do I drink? Well, I've never done it before, but why not try now?" She strode over to the bar in the corner, and lead on the counter, her vividly coloured hair falling over half her face as she grinned at Christian. "What've you made?" She flicked a string of her still knotted hair back over her shoulder, waiting to see what Christian would give her.
Kari entered the lounge along with the majority of the new lycanthropes, following Beta Christian into the house. The young female leaned against a wall near where some of the others had gathered by a small bar, and Christian was making some sort of drink. Kari watched with some interest before a question came that sparked discussion among the werewolves. "Do any of you drink?"
"What's 300 years of living without a bit of alcohol?" came a response from Rayne. Kari laughed. "I've never had alcohol before, but I you said 300 years, so I guess I have an excuse. I'm only 203," she said, her joking tone matching Rayne's as her face split into a smile. Despite her apprehensiveness from before, she was beginning to feel more comfortable. Joking around like this was exactly the sort of thing she and her companions had done in Carter's pack. The memory brought a sad smile to her lips, as she gazed around the room at the small crowd of lycanthropes gathered in various areas about the lounge. Images of the past and reality intertwined in a vivid picture in her mind, and she caught herself imagining that the faces around the room her those of her former packmates. She would feel hope well up inside of her when she saw each familiar appearance, only to be crushed back down when she realized that it was only a warped sense of reality created by her still-grieving mind. Many years had passed and she still had yet to release her sadness over their seemingly-mindless slaughter. Now, with the Council seeming to force her to replace one pack with another, the painful memories were even more fresh in her mind than before.
"Also, I was getting ready to make Acacia and I dinner for this evening, are any of you partial to a specific diet?" came yet another question from Christian. There were a few scattered replies from various lycanthropes and an offer to help from Rayne. Kari spoke up, smiling slightly as she stepped away from the wall and closer to the bar. "I'm not, but if you need any help I'd be willing to assist the two of you."
"Do any of you drink?" That was the male, Christian. Rayne chuckled. "What's 300 years of living without a bit of alcohol?" Kari was the next to speak. "I've never had alcohol before, but you said 300 years, so I guess I have an excuse. I'm only 203." Willow felt extremely young all of a sudden. Everyone seemed so old. It wasn't like she'd never had alcohol before, though she was still underage. But being underage, she probably should make a good impression by not drinking. Not now, at least.
"No, I don't drink. I'm only 16." Saying that made Willow feel vulnerable, but they would find out eventually. Better to get this part over and done with. She looked at the ground awkwardly.
"Also, I was getting ready to make Acacia and I dinner for this evening, are any of you partial to a specific diet?" Christian inquired. Rayne and Kari both offered to help. Someone else spoke up. It was the one with the blue hair. "Do I drink? Well, I've never done it before, but why not try now?" Willow looked at the ground, still feeling young and inexperienced. She wondered whether or not to mention her raw meat thing. Ah well. Can't hurt to say. Besides, it would lessen their cooking time. She turned to the three. "If you don't mind, I prefer eating meat raw."
Christian looked towards all the females that were there with him, they all seemed to be wanting some, which delighted him. His attention caught on Rayne, the girl whom had spoken first about drinking. It seemed rather hilarious, he himself was mostly older than everyone there from what they answered with, and it seemed the young Lycan Willow was much younger than she appeared to be. His attention was brought to Lyula, and looked to her as she leaned against the counter, seeing as she was acting just as flirty as he was, or that's how he perceived it. His smile widened as he set down his drink, pushing it over towards the female to try. "I don't want to give a lady too much if this will be her first time drinking, we'll save the hard liquor for after dinner," He chuckled, his bold statement true to its core. Drinking too much before dinner, although providing the male with a couple of drunk women that might be all over him, was a little unsettling for a nice dinner setting. He'd like to sit down and have casual conversation first after all, and Acacia would tease him if she were to see the swarm of girls around him now, and how much the male was enjoying it. "That'd be a Clementine Margarita m'lady, just enough tang to cover the taste of alcohol," He said, smiling towards her as he pulled his attention back to the two girls that were wanting to assist him with cooking.
"I'd love for you ladies to help me, although I do think you should spend some time getting comfortable and finding your way around the house, you'll need to establish sleeping quarters as well," Although he wanted to flirt, the painful need for something other than that to be established saddened him. He was the Beta of the pack, so he needed to show that he indeed meant business and was a dominant figure, even when surrounded by such beautiful creatures. "The rooms are down the hallway, and if you're curious enough, my bedroom is in the loft," He said, smiling towards them, but also providing a serious tone to his words. He didn't want them stealing his bedroom after all. After giving directions to around the house, he listened to what Willow had stated, saying how she preferred her meat raw, giving her a small smile, he decided that he'd not flirt with her, she was a mere child after all in the Lycan world, and wasn't eighteen just yet. That and the male didn't find himself looking at her the same way he did the others. He guessed that with such a huge age difference, he'd find himself providing a more brotherly appearance to her in the future. "I'll keep that in mind," he said, giving her a smile as he awaited answers from the others that had appeared, while he leaned against the bar, waiting for Acacia to appear so that he'd have some sort of grounds to ask her what she wanted for dinner.
Everett Lipka
A single feat of daring can alter the whole conception of what is possible
Everett noticed that one of the females with dirty blonde hair had given him a shy nod in greeting. He responded with a smile before leaning up against one of the walls. He looked around the house. It was huge, to say the least. Now that he could see everyone, he noticed just how many females there were. He heard the beta started to speak about drinks, mostly directed at the females. He watched the scene play out, all the flirting that was going on was slightly amusing to him. Everett didn't want to interfere as he didn't want to jeopardize his acceptance into the pack. If any of the females were to look at him, he would make sure to flash a smile and maybe even wink.
Everett noted in his head the directions around the house that the beta gave out.
Alphess Acacia
For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack - Rudyard Kipling
"I'd love for you ladies to help me, although I do think you should spend some time getting comfortable and finding your way around the house, you'll need to establish sleeping quarters as well," as Acacia passed through the archway of Kitchen to Lounge she would let spring-grass green eyes land upon her nearby Beta as he spoke, "The rooms are down the hallway, and if you're curious enough, my bedroom is in the loft." A faint chuckle would be given at this remark as she glanced from him to each female gathered at the bar, "Already inviting guests to your, how do we say, humble abode I see," she almost seemed to take pleasure in her coy taunting towards the male. Her expression soft and her movements swift as she placed herself nearer to the area of favor, "Please do pour me a glass of whatever concoction you've designed this time," she'd request in a more courteous manner.
Flaxen haired Alpha would linger not around the bar as Christian hopefully went about making something before their meal, she wasn't a heavy drinker due to her status and mindset of knowing she had to remain respectable. She wouldn't approach anyone in particular as she moved through the room, seemingly expecting most to now be finding places within the large room upon cushioned chairs. Each one of interest to her as she took in their postures, movements and words, the younger girl from out front had mentioned her preference of a raw-diet and Acacia would straighten up where she stood near fire-place and steps that lead to small side-room with a piano. "She will eat whatever is served up for tonight's meal," her eyes rested upon Willow for a short moment, her gaze, her posture and her tone signaling the child best no pose a complaint in a home she was invited within as guest, "Everyone will be served the same, and as of tomorrow, I will arrange what to do for those with varied taste."
Letting her words die down, Acacia would return to her more surveying state. The council surely had delivered quite the assortment of creatures and it would prove difficult to assess each one to a particular role. "Two salutaries," she'd comment to herself, expecting most others to be fairly distracted in their own conversation as she brought Genevieve's paperwork up for a closer look. Just from skimming the sheets she could tell the woman was well studied, licensed and practiced in modern medicine, while, from what she could assess of Rayne's scent she was more fitted into Herbal Healing, 'What am I going to do with them both?' she mentally questioned herself as she watched them both.
For now, she wouldn't interfere, everyone required a bit of time to greet one another and become accustomed to the fact they may be new house-mates. Lingering back to a lulled state of intent focus upon all individuals she would await Christian to bring her her drink and as predominantly expected, ask her what it was she felt would be a good meal for so many.
He followed behind the others, his eyes taking in details innately. Rux noted windows and exits, mentally marking the locations of rooms in relation to one another merely from cursory glance. Closed spaces made him edgy and tight quarters shared with others was its own type of hell… but it was just a feeling fostered from being alone and self-reliant for so long. Discomfort aside, he would deal with it and adjust to it like he dealt with and adjusted to everything else...
But there was just... so many. His steely gaze remained steely when he looked over the faces of men and women the barefoot Alpha had ushered into her abode. Had any of these wolves an intention of coupe or a united, cohesive grab for Acacia's status or belongings, it would not have been difficult to mastermind at all...
She must be very confident, very optimistic, or... very fresh to her role. His eyes rested upon her. How much experience did their fearless leader possess? Had she ruled in the ruthless hierarchies of Russia? Why was she in the new world? Questions begged to be asked.
And perhaps Acacia had questions of her own, too.
Having followed her in, he had remained… nearby. Taking up a stand with his arms folded at the fringes of the gathering, he rested near a wall that gave him adequate surveillance of both the exits and folks gathered. Though not far from the Alpha, he remained quiet... Until he spoke.
"два медикам. благословение в войне. да?" He said, tilting his head a little. He had heard her mumbling words and the tone in which she said them, and in due course he offered his own thoughts, casually, on the matter. It was lucky to have the 'problem' she was posed with... presuming either one was trustworthy. While not apt to denounce the merits of others he knew not, he was always wary of anyone who made a career of practicing, especially if it was the practicing of medicine.
Relinquishing himself back to silence, Rux (purposefully or not) merely loomed, waiting for whatever would happen next.
"I've never had alcohol before, but I you said 300 years, so I guess I have an excuse. I'm only 203," She heard a feminine voice behind her, spinning her head around to give a broad smile to the younger form. With an attitude like that, Rayne knew that they'd get along just perfectly. Turning back around to face Christian once again, she lowered her head and stared at her black and white Converse, shifting them an inch away from her body and she leaned further against the back of the single seated couch. A small smile still coating her features, she glimpsed the black backpack that was sitting at her feet and remembered the important contence inside. Pushing herself off the couch, Rayne knelt down and unzipped one of the smaller front pockets, a glimmer of gold greeted her visions as she quickly shoved her hand into the pocket and grasped the cool metal. She pulled out the glimmering object, holding it tightly in her hand as she zipped up the bag and rose back to her full height one more. Nobody would've been able to see the precious item she held in her hands until she swiftly clasped it around her neck, letting the beautiful moonstone pendant surrounded by a four point gold star fall just above her well rounded breasts. The rose gold necklace gleamed around her neck and stood out like a beacon against her pale skin and red woollen jumper, the small moonstone so vibrant and attention grabbing. She had earlier decided to wear her family heirloom once she knew she was in a safe environment, and now seemed like a perfectly cozy time.
The 'family heirloom', as Rayne liked to call it, had been past down through the Italian side of her family through generation after generation, her Italian ancestors believing that the combination of moonstone and gold would heighten a Lycan's powers in the light of a full moon. Of course it was only superstition, but Rayne still cherished it as the only thing left that tied her to her mother, as she had quickly grabbed it off of her dead body. The necklace quickly became an everyday item that could be found sitting upon her chest, and Rayne absolutely loved how the milky white and rainbow laced moonstone somehow made her eyes look brighter.
"I'd love for you ladies to help me, although I do think you should spend some time getting comfortable and finding your way around the house, you'll need to establish sleeping quaters as well," Rayne shot her head up at Christian's words, sending her soft chocolate curls flying to sit half over he shoulders. "The rooms are down the hallway, and if you're curious enough, my bedroom is in the loft," His words brought a flash of a smile across her plump lips. She'd remember where his bedroom was, for sure. She looked towards the hall that he had mentioned and picked up her bag in one hand, making her way to find a room. "Might as well go and claim a room, then." She said cheekily, her steps quickening as if it were a race to claim the best bedroom.
As she was retreating to go and find a bedroom quick enough so that she could be back in time to help Christian with dinner, she heard a mumbled bit of what sounded like Russian. 'Looks like I'm not the only bi-lingual here.' It was comforting to know, but she wasn't just fluent in two languages, but dabbled in French as well, because of her father's ancestry in France her mother had taught her how to speak English, Italian and taught her bits of her father's language in memory of him. She'd have to show off her multicultural tongue later, as she went to find a room, and maybe start unpacking.

Genesis stepped into the lounge, her black wedges making small click noises as she put one foot in front of the other. The lounge had tall ceilings that rose far above Genesis, though the room itself was not spectacularly large. It was comfy looking, lots of woodsy furniture and comfy looking seating. A nice-sized couch, loveseat, and a couple of plush chairs awaited someone to rest upon them. There was an alcoholic bar close to the kitchen, which Genesis would be politely avoiding. Christian, the seemingly flirty beta, appeared to be speaking with a few of the girls about dinner and whipping up some alcoholic beverages. At the thought of food, Genesis' stomach rumbled lowly, only loud enough for the Alphess and Rux in front of her to barely hear. Delicately, she placed a hand upon her lower abdomen and willed it to stop, eager for the moment when she would eat dinner. Rux stayed close behind Acacia, following her to a wall where he stood by. Genesis glanced around. Her eyes drifted to the loveseat, furthest away from the main commotion of people meeting and greeting each other. Lowering her hand from her abdomen to the handle of her suitcase, she walked over. Conservatively, she perched herself lightly on the edge of the white, sink-y softness. Her suitcase rolled close to her calf before she clicked the button and pushed the handle down.
Quietly, though not in an excluded or anti-social manner, Genesis observed the talk while keeping to herself. She would rather evaluate people's personalities and such before confronting them or making friends and companions. She was liking some of the people here, but she was not familiar nor quite comfortable with them yet. So, she sat there with a small, light-hearted smile and friendly aura. A girl she believed was named Rayne, a possible future salutary, left to go claim a room. Genesis knew she should do the same, and stood slowly. Gathering her suitcase handle in her hand again, she excused herself.
"I shall do the same. Give me a holler when dinner is ready," and with one last smile, she rolled her suitcase off to the hall to look for and claim a room. Also to unpack, ,so she would no longer have to carry around this suitcase, not that is bothered her necessarily, she would just rather have her hands free.
Christian looked towards Acacia as she entered, her voice being rather taunting towards the fact that he had mentioned his room to the others. "Oh, inviting them there will be for later tonight don't worry," He said, winking towards the Alpha, not taking her words to heart. He smiled towards her once again as she brought up the fact that she wished to have a drink, and he prepared one quickly, making everything just the way he had for the previous drink that Lyula would be drinking from at that moment. Making his way over towards Acacia, he presented the alcohol to her with a nonchalant appearance to it, although he did show her respect, they were both knowing of where they stood. He wouldn't be as lax as he was with her around the others, but he would surely offer them at least a small amount of leeway when talking with him.
He didn't want everything to be uptight, which he knew would only be so if they had to follow strictly by the rules. Breaking a few wouldn't hurt. Head not bothering to look towards the new male that entered, he was talking to Acacia, but didn't seem a threat to Christian. His attitude was much less flirtatious than the other males; which Christian could live with. So long as he kept himself knowing where he was, then him and Christian would be rather well fitting in the same living environment. He didn't forget to address Acacia's words either, how the girl, the young Lycan that had said she would like to eat hers raw, was going to be eating like the rest of the pack. He offered a smile towards Acacia, he held no feelings for the girl after all. If Acacia wished it, he wasn't going to speak up against her.
After making himself another drink, one that he would have to himself, he took a glance towards his Alpha and the newcomers within his home, making sure that everyone was busy, or off finding themselves a room, before he headed into the kitchen, making sure to keep himself relaxed, although dominant as he walked away. Couldn't have him setting a bad example after all.
-Exit to Kitchen-
Kari Varnan
The worst thing about being lied to is knowing you're not worth the truth.
"I'd love for you ladies to help me, although I do think you should spend some time getting comfortable and finding your way around the house, you'll need to establish sleeping quarters as well. The rooms are down the hallway, and if you're curious enough, my bedroom is in the loft," came the voice of the beta, Christian, following her offer to help with dinner. Kari nodded comprehensively, showing that she understood. "Already inviting guests to your, how do we say, humble abode I see." The voice of Acacia followed soon after Christian's comment. Kari suppressed a small laugh, though a smile did grace her features at the sound of the alphess's playful taunting of her second-in-command. Kari looked up at the alphess, noting that she had only just recently entered the dwelling. The young she-wolf was surprised to see that yet another lycanthrope had accompanied her into the house, this one a bearded, tattooed man. A phrase in what sounded to be Russian issued from the man, causing Kari's interest to increase slightly. Perhaps she was not the only one gathered in the house who was not of only North American or English-speaking heritage.
Following Christian's explaination as to where the rooms were, Rayne and Genesis took their leaves, likely to go claim a room as their own. Kari decided to wait; claiming a room was not of her utmost priority. She was not picky when it came to such things, considering she'd spent the vast majority of the past several years living in the wilderness. Instead, she would wait to hear anything that was stated by the alphess or her beta, in case anything important happened. She would not want to miss it. A few moments later, Kari looked over to see that Christian, too, had disappeared. The group of Lycans gathered within the lounge was slowly diminishing in numbers, and Kari was beginning to relax a bit more, feeling slightly more at peace with a smaller amount of strangers.
The young female lycanthrope stood silently at the edge of the room for a moment more. Finally, a voice in the back of her mind whispered, a quiet message from her subconscious. Go on and be social. What's the harm? Taking a nervous deep breath, Kari stepped away from the wall. Her chocolate-hued eyes flickered uneasily around the room. With a light dust pink dusting her cheeks as shyness set in, the girl walked over to the black haired boy, Everett, whom she had seen before on the porch. He was now leaning alone against the wall, much the way Kari herself had been only moments before. "Hi," she said, her voice edged with a natural sheen of nonchalantness. "I'm Kari." The calm tone of her voice was not intentional, simply there as a shield, covering up a bit of shyness. Someone paying close attention to her demeanor would realize that she had not meant to sound so jaded, that she was simply hiding her nervousness to be around others. Normally, she wouldn't have even approached one of these other lycanthropes. However, if she were to fare well in the pack, she would have to become acquainted with her future packmates, to regain the friendly, sweet personality she had carried while a member of Carter's pack.
Everett was observing the scene of everyone interacting. They were all getting along so well already and he knew that he made the right choice coming here. When the alpha came in, another male trailed behind. He was bearded and had tattoos. Everett slightly tilted his head, noticing how close he was to Acacia. He spoke in Russian, which impressed Everett. He never had even tried to learn another language, so it was always interesting to him when others spoke in different languages. The numbers of lycans present were slowly diminishing with people going into the kitchen and finding rooms. Everett didn't mind the size of room he would get, just as long as it had a door so that he could have some privacy.
Something moving in his peripheral vision caught his eye. He looked over and saw that it was the blonde girl that had greeted him before. She walked up to him and introduced herself as Kari. What a pretty name. He flashed a warm smile at her and stood up, away from the wall. "Hello Kari, my name is Everett. How was your journey here?" His tone was warm and friendly. He noticed that Kari was a little nervous and he didn't want to make her uncomfortable in any way. She was sweet and it was nice that she had walked up to him to say hi. His bright green eyes met her brown ones as he patiently waited for a response.
