Located on the other side of the house compared to the kitchen, the Library is where all sorts of books can be found, and where Vampires can go to find peace and quiet. Usually.

“Hello?” She asked, quietly at first before working up the courage to be a little louder, “Hello! Madame?” Eve implored, her eyes unabashedly glancing around the luxurious interior of the home. She examined the décor with lips pursed and footsteps casual. Part of her expected someone or something to jump out from a corner and give her a fright... but that fear dissipated as no such thing occurred.
How peculiar. Such a lovely house and yet... no servants? But the door was unlocked, surely someone would be home. Convinced of that fact Eve wandered from room to room, peering into each space in an investigatory manner. 'Oh hello!' she would say excited here and there, only to realize it was the fluttering of a curtain or some other object that she'd mistake for a living (undead?) being.
When she ended up on the opposite side of the house and found no one during all of her search, Eve could do nothing but frown...
Until her eyes alighted upon a familiar sight. A library! Really? Curiosity got the best of her when she invited herself into the den of books and old artifacts (or perhaps curiosity got the best of her when she entered the house to begin with) and felt her fingers taking on a life of their own. The tips of her digits skirted along the spines of old tomes, a little glee making her previous melancholy fade away.
Oh! Look at this one! A book on witchcraft! Wait... it couldn't be real, right? Magic was just...
Unable to help herself, she (very gently) snatched the book and began to read it.

Eve nearly jumped out of her skin, her pale flesh turning an even paler (and perhaps unnaturally pale) hue as her eyes - an overcast blue - flashed gold. Pointedly sharp fangs extended from her teeth and pricked her red lips, sending a wince of pain into the conoction of surprise that followed. Ouch!Grasping the book with a death wish, her wide-eyed gold stare settled on the other redhead that had burst into the room. Had Eve been paying attention she would have likely smelled (and heard) the other vampire the moment she had entered the manor, but alas, the nature of youth was often a foolish one. Eve's shock was one she could not hide. "I -" She began, about to scamper to a stand and begin a speil about apologies and forgiveness and all that stuff, suddenly feeling very self-conscious about entering someone's home unbidden. ... But Eve listened (as she was apt to do) before she spoke, and after hearing all that was to be heard from her new aquantaince, Eve merely blinked. So it appeared Crystal was not the Madame, but instead a new vampire herself. Here for training, perhaps? Given that Crystal did not know Eve was not the leader... there was a chance to pretend to be... Oh no, but if the Madame returns and finds out I posed as her..."It's quite alright Crystal. I'm sorry you had to wait, if I knew you were outside I would have very gladly came out to meet you... But I'm - or rather, I was, I guess - in the same shoes you are... or were... I..." Eve was rather sheepish to admit it, but there wasn't any harm in admitting a sin to a fellow sinner, right? "I got tired of waiting, too. I'm Eve and..." realizing she had still been clutching the book as some sort of sheild, she politely put it down. The color had returned to her cheeks. "And I guess you're new to being a vampire, too?" She leaned in a little from her seat, her voice lowering a little. "I didn't even think it was real, I mean. You know. What else is real, you think?" She patted the book, offering a nervous, uncertain laugh. "But anyway I'm very glad to see you. I got to admit it's a bit spooky... big house, all by yourself. I thought something was going to jump out and get me!" She paused a moment in her chatter, cocking her head a little and musing aloud. "I guess that kinda did happen though," she said, eyeing Crystal for a moment before breaking into a genial, teasing smile. OOC: d00d. I'm so glad you hoped in. I'm dying to write. Hopefully Crystal resists throwing Eve out of a window for a few rounds. Crystal Corbeau

Eve did not have a history or experiences to justify a skeptical air about others. She trusted freely, she believed in the goodly tendencies of mankind, and she had not been a vampire long enough to realize how far removed from humanity some vampires had become. "Werewolves! Really? Do they change every full moon?" She asked, her bashfulness and reservation evaporating into a web of curiousity. Crystal seemed every bit successful in duping the young girl as Eve smiled broadly to her. But then it dawned on her. "Wait, born? So are we... Undead? Or alive? Or -" her brows knit as she tried to think about it. She had assumed vampires were innately infertile. Not that it was a concern, of course, it wasn't as if rearing children had been her immediate quest in life... But... "Oh, I don't know. I've been here a few hours before you arrived. I had hoped I wouldn't be late... But -" lifting herself off the comfy chair and stretching, Eve asked what she thought was an entirely legitimate question, "Do you think the Madame would be hungry? Should we make her dinner as a token of good will? I couldn't think of a present to bring..."

Eve had not been a culinary savant until a month or so ago. Prior to that she had consumed the delicacies of a sophisticated pallet alongside the posh upper crust of society. But since her... lifestyle change, she had taken to inconspicuous modes of blood ingestion. Blood milk of the Maasai, blood tofu and blood soup from China and Southeast Asia, and a plethora of blood sausages and black puddings from around the globe became staples of her diet. Not by choice, but... how else was she supposed to satisfy her... Dietary requirements? Bite someone? Eve shuddered at the thought. "Oh, Crystal it sounds very beautiful..." Eve cooed, coming closer amicably enough. The ring sounded lovely, a fine gift even though Eve did not know the importance of wolfsbane. Had Eve the time to properly plan her departure and her arrival, she would have hoped to have brought a similarly delightful present... but alas... "Hmm. If only we knew what Madame likes." She frowned a little, musing. "Ah! We can make something that we can keep in the oven!" Coming to a solution happily enough, she moved to hook her arm through Crystal's (something she did naturally, not even considering that someone would be adverse to being touched) and head out of the room.
Leaving with Crystal Corbeau for the kitchen... Maybe? Depends on Crystal's reaction!
