Lyra heard a small growl from one of the vampires who had come in. Her eyes looked at the vampire, observing her red hair. Dru, I think it's good to not get on her bad side. Lyra's head turned back to her leader. When the young girl flashed a glare in her direction, Lyra responded by flashing her eyes red for a few seconds and grinning, showing her fangs before retracting them. She smiled when Xalia put them to cook as she was very hungry. She yawned and realized how tired she actually was. Seeing the others trail out of the room, she hoped that she would be able to get to know more people over dinner. Observing everyone and what kind of character they were, she believes that this will be a strong clan who will stand up for each other.
Lyra followed Xalia into the kitchen and heard a growl come from Xalia before she launched herself at the closest vampire, holding a knife to her throat. She's fast, I wouldn't want to get on her bad side. Lyra slightly smirked at her thought. Her expression quickly dissolved as Xalia started questioning the vampires. Observing what the two females had been doing, Lyra questioned who in their right mind would go into someones house and start cooking like it was their own. Subconsciously, Lyra's fangs grew and her eyes became cold. She stood back with the other vampires who had come, but she was ready to fight. These vampires would have to chose their next words very carefully if they didn't want to be hurt. Lyra narrowed her eyes as she remembered her switch blade that rested in her boot. It was a gift from her father when he started their assassinating business. Many different kinds of blood left their host because of this blade, and she wouldn't mind if she had to use it again. Though, she couldn't unless Xalia made the call.
Lyra followed close behind Xalia and the smell of new vampires within the house hit her like a wall. She immediately felt tension as she knew that Xalia wasn't happy. Lyra's eyes flashed red as she remembered she had placed her belongings in there before the trip to the city. Her eyes looked back at Xalia as she addressed the situation. Realizing how many vampires were their, the newcomers could have a really bad situation on their hands. Subconsciously, Lyra cracked one of her knuckles, as she was very protective over her belongings. She would be quite upset if someone had touched them.
Walking up the steps to the porch, Lyra waited for Xalia to enter first. As the door opened, she saw that her backpack hadn't moved and she started to relax, her eyes returning to her same blue-grey. She hoped that these new vampires wouldn't do anything rash, for their sake.
Lyra watched all the scenes of the newcomers play out, silently thinking about how everyone would get along. It seems like there was an array of different personalities, which would make things interesting. Lyra nodded to the waitress who promised her fries. With a small sigh, she pulled out a pen and started to doodle on a napkin. This helped her be able to focus on everyone's conversations without looking suspicious. She heard Xalia being playful for a while, then went serious with the new female. Lyra's eyebrows sightly came together as she thought about what the red-haired female had said. Going to train us? Is the council misunderstanding the fact that they have sent people who have killed lycans in the past?
Flash backs started to float around in Lyra's head of her 'job errands' she performed for her father's company. The blood, fights, they weren't all lycan's, there were humans and other vampires too, but she defiantly had lycan blood on her hands. Her hands slightly clenched at the thought of all the vile experiences she had. When she heard Xalia speak of going back to the clan house, a sigh escaped Lyra's lips. She still hadn't eaten anything. Lyra pulled herself away from the bar, and followed her leader closely, stomach retaliating.
Lyra looked at all the vampires that had entered. Her blue eyes flickering to each one, observing their features. She gulped down the rest of her drink and watched Xalia approach each one of them. She felt a little crowded, but not overwhelmed. Naturally they'd run into vampires here. It would save them all the trip that she had to make through the forest alone. Lyra was brought out of her thoughts when a female human approached all of them. She spoke as if they were all a group. I guess we are already giving off the presence of a group even though we all just met. This is good, means we will make a strong clan. She half smiled to herself and looked at the human.
"Do you have fries? If so I'd love to have some." Lyra smiled at the girl, her tone soft. Now that all these vampires were here, it would be a while before she would have the chance to hunt with Xalia. I wonder if others will join us. It would be an interesting first 'clan activity'. Thinking about this made her feel even more hungry. The human girl wasn't helping. She had such a nice sweet scent, and was healthy looking. Lyra eyed her slightly, thinking of how exactly she would taste. Now obviously she couldn't just leap at her in public, but that didn't mean her thoughts couldn't wonder.
The bartender brought Lyra her surprise drink, which she still didn't know the name of. She didn't really care, as long as there was alcohol. She listened in to the conversation and noticed how close the male was to Xalia's face. He was bold, maybe a little too bold for Lyra's liking. This made her tense up a little and she took a sip of her drink to help calm herself. Xalia's the leader, she can handle herself. Lyra circled the liquid around in her glass, it was strong, which she liked. This made her glance over at the male when he ordered for another drink. As if he needed more alcohol. She looked back to her drink and drink about half of it. She didn't want to blur her senses too fast. As much as she liked to drink, she knew that it didn't take much for her to become tipsy.
Hearing the male introduce himself, she wondered about his name. Why Jackal? Lyra slightly narrowed her eyes thinking, but brushed it off. She would use it as a conversation starter for later. She heard Xalia introduce Lyra and she looked up at the male, "Hello, nice to know you're joining. Even if it is for a little while." She said with a mix of seriousness and playfulness. He was actually pretty attractive, but she wouldn't let that go to her head. If they were to get along, they would need to break the ice a little.

Lyra stopped as soon as Xalia did, making sure that she didn't go in front of Xalia as a courtesy to her dominance. Lyra looked around, acknowledging the humans that were walking or standing around the bar. She noticed Xalia moving to go into the building and Lyra quickly followed behind. Lyra took in the scents of who was around and noticed that there were more than just humans in the area. There was lycan around, she hoped not in the building. Lycan's have always brushed her the wrong way so naturally she would rather not bumped into one in public. There were vampires as well. Lyra followed Xalia up to the bar and sat beside her, noticing that Xalia sat right beside one of the present vampires. She didn't want to sit on the other side of the vampire as she knew that would be disrespectful. Out of curiosity, she listened in to what she would have to say.
Lyra heard Xalia ask the vampire about his presence. She had not realized that Xalia already ordered a drink. So she turned to the bartender, "This is my first time being here, so surprise me." Her tone was light, but her face serious. Now that they were in public and around other vampire, Lyra wanted to keep her formality. She isn't one to smile around strangers, however would be polite. One would want to be polite back, though she can take negativity. If someone had the nerve to disrespect authority, her mood would change. However, she wouldn't do anything without permission from her leader. At most, she would just give a harsh glare to the person to remind them of their place.
OOC: Sorry if that was confusing in any way, I am still trying to wake up fully, so my brain isn't thinking as clearly haha

Lyra smiled at the joke about choosing a brutal death instead of not eating humans. She was already liking the leaders sense of humor, and she knew that they would be able to get along quite well. Xalia playfully challenged her before zipping off towards their destination. Lyra raised an eyebrow to the challenge, "Tch, you'll see." She muttered to herself with a playful grin. She burst into the direction her leader went, catching up to her quickly. The wind ran through her hair as it flowed behind her. Her black combat boots thumped across the ground. She smiled feeling the rush of running with another vampire beside her. The last time this happened, she was with her brother. She absorbed the adrenaline that was slowly building inside her.
She made sure to follow close to Xalia as they closed in on their destination.
Xalia stepped aside, allowing Lyra to place her backpack inside the house. She stated that she wouldn't need to worry about her backpack in a playful tone. Lyra gave a slight smile, seeing that this leader would be fun to be around. It was nice how she was already easing up. It would allow Lyra to be more herself around her, instead of formal all the time. This thought made her a little excited for what was to come living here. Her thoughts were brought short when Xalia offered a guess to her preferred blood type.
Lyra nodded, "Yup, it's my favorite." Her tone was friendly. "I'm guessing you do too? You aren't one of those 'no killing humans' activists are you?" she asked playfully. She prepared herself to run along side her leader. She was excited to get to know her and have some blood in the process. She hadn't had a human meal in weeks and she could feel the hunger rising just thinking about it. Hunting has always been one of her favorite activities. When she was with her family, if she wasn't training or perusing an errand, she was hunting. Her parents made her hunt animals after a while, since they were already assassinating people for their job and the body count was climbing. As soon as she had left, she started hunting humans again. However stopped when she arrived at Toronto, since she didn't know the area all too well.
The leader flashed her fangs with a smile at Lyra. "That Council, they don't ever tell me anything do they?" she stated in a mocking way, which settled the air a little. Her eyes went back to their natural blue colour, which made Lyra relax a little. "Well, I was just heading into town to find me a meal, would you like to accompany me, or would you rather stay here and get to know your surroundings and find yourself a room?" Lyra's eyes lit up. Already, she was welcome to join the leader eat. Thinking about the offer of settling in first, Lyra decided to join for a meal. It had been a long trip to arrive here and she was hungry. She could settle in later, not like the house was going anywhere.
"I would be thankful to accompany you. I'll just leave my backpack here, if you don't mind." Lyra stated, keeping her formality. She wanted to make a good impression with her, especially since she didn't really know anything about her.
Lyra heard footsteps coming towards the door and caught the scent of the vampire. When the door opened, a women with somewhat similar features appeared in the doorway. She noticed that the female was observing her, then spoke, "Hello, might I ask why you're at my door?" Her eyes flashed red and continued to observe Lyra. Making sure to keep calm, Lyra assumed that this was the leader of the clan.
"Hello, the council sent me here. My name is Lyra." She spoke with a respectful tone, knowing that if this was the leader, she would not want to disrespect her. Thought started to stream through her head. What if I do something wrong? What if I don't get accepted. Lyra forced the negative thoughts out of her head. Now is not the time, focus on the matter at hand. She scanned the woman, taking in her features and noticed her top lip was a little pushed out. Her teeth must be elongated. Lyra didn't bring on any vampire features to make sure not to provoke the woman.

Lyra took her first steps up the driveway that lead to the house of the clan. She took a deep breath, calming herself. She couldn't remember the last time that she felt this nervous. What would they think of her? She checked her little piece of paper with directions on how to arrive here, written out by the council. Stuffing the paper into her pocket, Lyra continued up the driveway. She reached the front porch, pausing to see if she could stop anyone who might be apart of the clan. She didn't know if she should go up and ring the door bell or wait for someone to spot her.
Lyra decided to try the door bell, she didn't see the harm in it. She strolled up to the door, adjusting her posture and clothing before taking a deep breath and pressing the button. She heard a ring echo through the inside of the house as she waited for someone to answer.
